Stories of travel

This is not so much a travel blog, more like a digital nomad blog. I believe the best way to get immersed in a country and a culture is by staying longer than for a holiday and by experiencing ‘real life’ somewhere – if conditions allow for it, of course. This is when things start to get real. That’s why I created this blog, not to write about beautiful holiday destinations, but about places to live, to work from, and everything in between. For those who, like me, are curious about other ways of living and about the world. There are just so many places to see and experience! Being flexible and adaptable does not mean I do not create a home everywhere I go. My cat Reine is proof of that – and so are many connections I made while traveling. Because, believe it or not, chances are high you’ll make friendships everywhere. That’s the beauty of traveling.

Who am I?

More than a traveler, I feel like I’ve been a nomad my whole life. As Frida Kahlo said, “Feet, what do I need you for when I have wings to fly?”
